Pivotal Game Goes to Host Evergreens, 6-5
Portland Evergreens left fielder Armando Rodríguez was the difference-maker at Evergreen Park today, winning player of the game honors as he led his club to victory in a pivotal Game of the United States Premier League Championship. The Evergreens took the 6-5 win over the Ft. Worth Cattlemen to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.

In the bottom of the third, Portland third baseman Billy Dotson had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 1st and two out, Dotson stroked a 2-run home run to right. It made the score 2-0, Portland. For the game, he was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Portland manager Brandon Slouck.
