United States Premier League Championship Game 1 Victory for Loopstok and New Orleans
The New Orleans Voodoo moved to within one game of the Round 2 today, downing the visiting Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC at The Voodoo Lounge by a score of 5-3. Voodoo left-hander Sicnarf Loopstok was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 7 innings of 5-hit ball. The win gives the Voodoo a - advantage in the best-of- United States Premier League Championship.

Guy Toussaint aided the New Orleans cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the second baseman was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles.

"This was a good win," said Toussaint.
