The Boston Patriots are one game away from a sweep after a 9-7 win over the visiting D.C. Divided at Dunkin Donuts Park today. Patriots third baseman Dennis Wacher was named player of the game, as he went 4-4 with 2 triples and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. Boston now holds a - advantage in the best-of- United States Premier League Championship.
Wacher had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the second, when he hit a bases-clearing triple. The Patriots went on to win.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Wacher told reporters after the game.
