New Orleans Voodoo designated hitter Gilberto Juárez was the difference-maker at The Voodoo Lounge today, winning player of the game honors as he led his club to victory in a pivotal Game of the United States Premier League Championship. The Voodoo took the 9-3 win over the Montana Pandas to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.

Orlando Velásquez had a key at-bat with two out in the bottom of the first for New Orleans. With the bases loaded and the Voodoo leading 1-0, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Velásquez.
