Centennial Come Back Late, Nip Cajuns

The Fort Knox Centennial racked up a win at Titans Ballpark, bumping off the Crowley Cajuns, 4-3. Ming Zhai, who started for Fort Knox, pitched effectively for his team. Fort Knox reliever Eliseo Fontirroig picked up the win, upping his record to 5-4. Felipe Nieves absorbed the loss. At 45-40, the Centennial are currently 4th in the Premier R.
The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Kiambu Fentress came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Crowley pitcher Felipe Nieves, he hit a 1-2 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Fort Knox on top, 4-3.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Fentress said.
