Rams Turn Back Crowley, 3-1

Héctor Sanz pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Crowley Cajuns, despite Sanz's fine outing, dropped a 3-1 decision to the Ladue Rams at Titans Ballpark. Rubén Medina earned the save, his 9th. Crowley is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 7 in a row.
Ladue used the bat of Scott Reeves to capture the win. The first baseman jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Rams ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"You come to the ballpark to do your job and that's what I did today," Reeves told the Ladue Daily.
