Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Lead Sox

Indiana turned a good effort from starter Arlen Chesnutt into a win over the Fort Knox Centennial at The Lead Mine. The final score was 3-2. Indiana is now 16-24, Fort Knox 23-17.
The game was at a stalemate until left fielder Jeff Griffin came to bat in the bottom of the 13th. Facing Fort Knox pitcher Jong-beom Kung, he hit a 1-0 cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Indiana on top, 3-2.
"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Chesnutt said.
