The Centennial grabbed a win, 2-1, at Field of the Toros, overcoming a fine effort from Hudsonville pitcher Javier Montés. Montés went 5.1 innings and allowed no earned runs. Fort Knox has now won 3 straight, while the Flanderses have lost 3 in a row.
Carlos Martínez's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a fastball from Donnie Ash for a 2-run double. It put Fort Knox in front, 2-1.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Fort Knox manager António Molina.
