Lead Sox Get One-Run Win at Fort Knox

Both teams had their chances, but the Indiana Lead Sox eventually prevailed at Ballpark of Baxter.
The Indiana Lead Sox did just enough to secure a 3-2 victory over the Fort Knox Centennial at Ballpark of Baxter. Nobody did more than pitcher Arlen Chesnutt, who captured player of the game honors. In 5.1 innings, Chesnutt surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run.
It could have been a different outcome for Indiana, had it not been for Iván Reyes, the 21-year old shortstop . Reyes contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the third inning to put Indiana up, 3-0.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Chesnutt.
The Centennial drop to 8-9 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2037 season.
