Cougars Get Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
The Fort Knox Centennial got a sterling performance from catcher Thiago Yepes, but the Cougars still prevailed, 11-4. Yepes was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He hit 2 home runs. Losses have been few and far between for the Centennial, who are now 5-2.

Denis Perrin had a big run-scoring double for the Cougars in the bottom of the third inning. With Valley View leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a cutter from Kyung-soo Yun and stroked the double to right-center. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Cougars ahead, 2-0.

"We came out aggressive," said Cougars manager Will Thomas. "We came out swinging the bats."
