Flanderses Get One-Run Win at Ogallala

Hudsonville and Ogallala duked it out at Nebraska Aquarium and the Flanderses came out victorious.
The Hudsonville Flanderses topped the Ogallala Octopi, 4-3, with right fielder António Etxebarria playing a big role. Etxebarria was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Flanderses in the win. Hudsonville reliever José Elizondo picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Takejiro Masuda shouldered the loss. Donnie Ash was called on to finish, recording his 1st save.
Etxebarria had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-0 sinker from Takejiro Masuda, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Flanderses a 4-1 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Etxebarria.
After the game, Hudsonville manager Altti Salo applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
The loss drops Ogallala to 1-5.
