Gilberto Juárez helped his team muscle past the Boston Patriots, 3-1. In the game, the New Orleans designated hitter went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. Juárez had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a full count fastball from Leo Ingelbrigtsen, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Voodoo a 3-1 lead. It was the 17th home run of the year for Juárez.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Juárez.
