The San Bernardino Grasshoppers and Westwood Sixshooters obliged those fans who came to Field of the Grasshoppers hoping for an exciting game.

The Westwood Sixshooters got a sterling performance from first baseman Oki Hai, but the Grasshoppers still prevailed, 6-5. Hai was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. The win was Rainer Polonius's in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Christian Clayton took the loss for Westwood. Júlio Antunez earned his 17th save in 20 chances.

Tome Uso took Christian Clayton deep in the bottom of the eighth. His 2-run home run put the Grasshoppers on top, 6-5. In all, Uso had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Uso.

San Bernardino now owns a record of 43-52.
