Loons Lose, 5-3, at Old-Timers Park

It was a good time at Old-Timers Park, where fans came to watch the Minnesota Loons and Northville Eclipse get after it.
Northville Eclipse starter Devoid Couch was in fine form against the Minnesota Loons at Old-Timers Park, leading his team to a 5-3 win. In 8 innings, Couch surrendered 10 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs. Andrew Phillips earned his 4th save in 5 chances.
Noel Peterson put Northville in front, 5-1, when he took Melchor Morse downtown. His 2-run home run came with no one out in the bottom of the sixth. It was his 8th home run of the season.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Peterson. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
The Eclipse have an impressive 52-33 record.
