Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Screaming Eagles
The Screaming Eagles had to overcome a fine effort from Lake Minnetonka pitcher Carlos López to grab a narrow 3-2 win at Mercer Island Grounds. López went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Mercer Island reliever Luis Oropeza was credited with the win, to go to 4-3. Mark Jacobson took the loss for Lake Minnetonka. Lake Minnetonka's current losing streak has reached 4 games.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Mercer Island right fielder Asbel Kiprop, facing Mark Jacobson, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Screaming Eagles the 3-2 win.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Lake Minnetonka manager .
