Old-Timers Park was the site for USPL Double A action featuring the Northville Eclipse and Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks.

Ft. Polk South first baseman Carlos Castro played a vital role in his team's 9-2 triumph over Northville. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for Ft. Polk South. The Thunder Hawks have an impressive 45-27 record.

Ft. Polk South used the clutch hitting of Juho Hovinen to capture the win. The catcher drilled a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to give the Thunder Hawks the lead, 2-0. For the game, Hovinen had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Hovinen told the Ft. Polk South Chronicle.
