Grasshoppers Lose to Thunder Hawks in Walk Off
Ft. Polk South starter Kyle Overhill had a strong outing against the San Bernardino Grasshoppers at Thunder Hawks Ballpark. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 7-6 win. Ft. Polk South reliever Ricardo Peito got the win, raising his record to 9-0. Miika Jarvi was tagged with the loss. The Thunder Hawks raised their record to 36-23.

Marc Ben was the walk-off hero for Ft. Polk South. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Thunder Hawks catcher hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Ben told the Ft. Polk South Chronicle.
