Pat Pending had a good game, but he could not keep the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks from falling, 9-7, to the Northville Eclipse at Old-Timers Park. The Ft. Polk South left fielder was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once in the loss. The winner was Roger Edwards in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Laurel Yanny took the loss. Northville is now 35-20, 2 games up in the Premier AA.

In the bottom of the fourth, Northville catcher Wade Tazewell had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 3rd and two out, Tazewell stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 6-5, Northville. For the game, he went 1-2 with 2 walks.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Tazewell told the Northville Bulletin.
