Loons Topple Sonics with Late Rally

The Minnesota Loons relied on the hitting of first baseman William Morgan to stop the Atlantic City Sonics, 5-2. For the game, Morgan went 2 for 3 with a double and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Adrián Porras got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. The current losing streak for Atlantic City has reached 4 games.
The game was all tied up in the top of the eighth, until Morgan delivered big-time for Minnesota, stroking a dramatic 2-run double off Sarda Chitturu. The game-changing hit put the Loons on top, 4-2.
