Thunder Hawks Win at San Bernardino, 7-2

The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks relied on the hitting of designated hitter Gregory Clement to stop the San Bernardino Grasshoppers, 7-2. For the game, Clement was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Ft. Polk South, at 10-11, sits in 6th place in the Premier AA.
Ft. Polk South used the timely hitting of Pat Pending to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Thunder Hawks on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
