Big Game from Tseng Not Enough, Evergreens Lose
Portland shortstop Yu-shu Tseng had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 7-5, to Greenville at 84s Field. Tseng went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The Evergreens, now 55-38, have lost 4 straight.

In the bottom of the 6th, second baseman Craig Morgan gave Greenville the lead when he hit a grand slam home run. The 84s had been trailing 5-3, but the two-out home run off Portland pitcher Tate Beason changed that -- and Greenville went on to win.

"We take it day by day here," said Morgan, "and today was a good one for us."
