San Bernardino rode a fine outing from starter John Núñes to victory over the Atlantic City Sonics at Field of the Grasshoppers. The final score was 3-2. Picking up the save was Júlio Antunez, his 1st. The Grasshoppers raised their record to 3-3.

San Bernardino took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Stephen Goldobenko hit a run-scoring single to make it 3-2, Grasshoppers.

"It was a good effort all around," said Goldobenko.
