Atlantic City shortstop Luis Rodríguez had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 7-2 win over the San Bernardino Grasshoppers. Gavin Botterell closed it out for his 1st save. The win pushes Atlantic City to a record of 2-3.

Atlantic City used the bat of Tomás Flores to capture the win. The right fielder jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Sonics ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Sonics manager Ricardo Betancourt. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
