Grey Wolves Bang Out 7-4 Win Versus Charleston
Charleston got a terrific game from second baseman Datu Lesaca. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Vancouver, 7-4. Lesaca was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs. The winner was Germán Rodríguez, who threw 86 pitches over 6.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs on 5 hits. Hiroaki Kouda closed the game out for Vancouver, earning his 4th save.

Komotay Koffie contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the second. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he drew a walk. It was one at-bat that propelled Vancouver to the win.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Koffie.

Vancouver is now 48-39.
