Las Vegas right fielder Glyn Bolasky was sensational. He was 4-6 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Greenville beat the Flamingos, 7-6. Bolasky was named the player of the game despite the loss. The 6th-place 84s now have a 5-game winning streak.

Greenville took a 7-6 lead on Craig Morgan's 77th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Morgan hit in the bottom of the 11th, left Las Vegas pitcher Vaugh Chesser visibly frustrated.

"Nothing is scripted in this game," said Morgan.
