Las Vegas Wins, Cheng gets 5 RBI
The Las Vegas Flamingos bested the Boston Patriots by a score of 17-8, with center fielder Xu Cheng getting the main credit. On the day, Cheng was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5 for the Flamingos. Nam-shik Kwak got the win, improving to 6-7. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 8 hits and 7 runs, while striking out 2 and walking 2. Their 32-47 record puts the Flamingos 9th in the Premier League.

Cheng contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Las Vegas in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Cheng took a cutter from Alberto López and stroked the home run to left. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Flamingos to leap in front, 4-1.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Cheng told the Las Vegas Times.
