The Boston Patriots trumped the New Orleans Voodoo, 10-1, at Dunkin Donuts Park. Boston left fielder Jeff Simpson was named player of the game for his performance. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Juan Sánchez got credit for the win, improving to 5-5. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 7.1 innings. The Patriots saw their record improve to 41-30.
