Sandoval Hits for the Cycle Monday, June 9th, 2036 The Lancaster Farmers lost 9-8 to the Marquette Miners at Marquette Stadium today and none took the loss harder than Fernando Sandoval, who saw a sensational game -- in which he hit for the cycle -- wasted. "It feels really, really bad," he said later. "You feel like you deserve the win with a day like that." The right fielder ripped Marquette pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats and tallied 3 runs batted in. Sandoval also scored 3 runs on his remarkable day. Fernando Sandoval singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Fernando Colón in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
