Alston Shuts Out Asheville Sunday, September 21st, 2036 It was a long day at the plate for the Asheville Highlanders at Atoms Field today. They never figured out Bethesda Atoms starter Mick Alston and were shut out 8-0. The right-hander baffled the Highlanders the entire game, yielding no runs and giving up 5 hits in a well-pitched outing. Alston also totaled 9 strikeouts and no walks in the game.
