Mississippi No Match for Lowdermilk Friday, September 14th, 2035 New Orleans Voodoo fans were pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard as Grover Lowdermilk blanked the Mississippi Mockingbirds, 12-0 at The Voodoo Lounge today. Lowdermilk stopped them on 3 hits while walking 2 and striking out 5. "Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite," Voodoo skipper Chase Sims said. "He was on top of his game in this one." So far this year Lowdermilk has made 7 starts, tossed 99 innings, struck out 65 batters and walked 25. His record is 6-8 with a 2.64 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .213 batting average.
