New Orleans Voodoo fans were pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard as Grover Lowdermilk blanked the Mississippi Mockingbirds, 12-0 at The Voodoo Lounge today. Lowdermilk stopped them on 3 hits while walking 2 and striking out 5.

"Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite," Voodoo skipper Chase Sims said. "He was on top of his game in this one."

So far this year Lowdermilk has made 7 starts, tossed 99 innings, struck out 65 batters and walked 25. His record is 6-8 with a 2.64 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .213 batting average.
