Fuentes Sensational, 15 Ks Wednesday, September 13th, 2034 Led by an outstanding performance from starter David Fuentes, the Gibtown Elephants topped the Amarillo Submarinos today by a score of 6-1 at Terriers Ballpark. The 20-year-old Fuentes brought his top game to the mound, striking out 15 batters while allowing 4 hits and giving up 2 walks. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Submarinos manager Theodore Johnston said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes."
