Fakhiri Voted September's Best SL Rookie Sunday, October 1st, 2034 Zaki Fakhiri takes the hill with uncharacteristic poise for a man of so few years. Fakhiri is just a lad, but he strung together some solid starts last month to win the United States Silver League Rookie of the Month crown. In September he held opponents to a .190 average as he struck out 13 in 21.2 innings. In 3 starts he nailed down 3 wins, suffered no losses and compiled a 1.66 ERA. Checking out his stats for the season, Fakhiri has notched 7 wins and 7 losses in 17 starts, 5.31 ERA and struck out 80 batters in 103.1 innings. |
