Talia and van der Poel Brawl, League Suspends Them Friday, September 22nd, 2034 After an intense confrontation, both the Hotspur Martín Talia and the Thundercats Josef van der Poel were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Phoenix-Richardson City game. Both players will miss 4 games as a result of their actions. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Martín Talia commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Talia is hitting .257 this year with 21 home runs and 56 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .296, 15 walks and scored 42 times. So far this year van der Poel has nailed down 1 save.
