Outlaws End Coss's Streak
Wednesday, August 30th, 2034
It was the best of both worlds for the Nashville Outlaws today at Nashville Stadium, as they defeated the New Orleans Voodoo 3-2 and also snapped Guillermo Coss's 22-game hitting streak. The 27-year-old New Orleans first baseman failed to get a hit in 4 at-bats.

"Nothing personal against Coss, we just wanted to win the game," said Outlaws skipper Ryan Naylor. "We did a great job keeping him off-balance and guessing."

When asked by reporters about his streak coming to an end, Coss frowned and said, "I won't lie and say that I'm not disappointed about it, but I'd feel much better if we had won."

In 17 games Coss is hitting .328 this season with 22 hits, 3 home runs, 15 RBIs, 4 walks, .361 OBP and has scored 12 runs.
