New Orleans starter Matt Martin had a strong outing against the New Amsterdam Dutchmen at The Voodoo Lounge. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 7-1 win. New Orleans is now 48-33.

Eikki Kankaanperä, who was drafted in the two round of the 2030 draft, aided the New Orleans cause with a bases-clearing double in the bottom of the third. For the game, the left fielder went 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"Anyone who says he's not out there thinking about personal accomplishments is not telling the truth," Martin said later.
