Benefiting from Guy Toussaint's productive game, the New Orleans Voodoo downed the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 8-7. Toussaint went 2-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Voodoo. New Orleans reliever Grover Lowdermilk was the winner. His record is now 3-6. The losing pitcher was Dino Moonglampers. Mark Valle converted his 4th save in 7 tries.

This game was not decided until late. With one out in the top of the tenth, Guillermo Coss hit a sacrifice fly. The Voodoo took the lead, 8-7.
