The New Orleans Voodoo topped the St. Louis Coeur, 4-0, in United States Silver League action at The BFIB. The player of the game was New Orleans pitcher and Delmas, Haiti native Rémi Ribeiro. Myles Wilkerson got the save, the 1st for him this season. New Orleans is now 38-26.
Gilberto Juárez helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring double to give New Orleans a 1-0 lead.
"It's a mindset," said Ribeiro. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
