Northern Lions BC Win at Athletic Club KC, 2-1

Thunder Bay beat Athletic Club KC on the strength of starter Rafael Cardona's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 2-1 win. Thunder Bay is now riding a 4-game win streak.
The Northern Lions BC got a big at-bat from shortstop Augusto Encarnación. For the game, Encarnación went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Thunder Bay a 2-0 lead.
