Nashville No Match for Rubia
|
Phoenix Hotspur fans were pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard as Miguel Rubia blanked the Nashville Outlaws, 1-0 at Chase Field today. Rubia stopped them on 2 hits while walking 2 and striking out 5.
"Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite," Hotspur skipper Michael Esposito said. "He was on top of his game in this one."
To date this year, Rubia shows a 4-1 record, 6 starts, 47.2 innings, 47 strikeouts and a 2.64 ERA.
