Machen Wins Menard's Third League Pitching Crown Sunday, November 6th, 2033 Michael Machen was really special this season. You could feel the electricity in the air every time he took the mound for the Quebec City Les Bleus. Today he was honored by his selection as the 2033 Menard's Third League Outstanding Pitcher Award recipient. He started 26 games, logging 156 innings, 12 wins, 3 losses, 176 strikeouts and a 1.56 ERA. Machen gave up 111 hits, while walking 34 and holding opponents to a .197 average. Armando Romano of the Ft. Worth Cattlemen finished second in voting, while Ángel Rosas of the Nashville Outlaws finished third. |
