3L Honors Quebec City Catcher Monday, September 19th, 2033 So far in his young career, Jack Bonner has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Menard's Third League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Quebec City Les Bleus catcher hit at a torrid .526 clip as he collected 10 hits in 19 at-bats, 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored. In 77 games Bonner is hitting .320 this season with 79 hits, 5 home runs, 37 RBIs, 18 walks, .365 OBP and has scored 30 runs. |
