Rodríguez Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Thursday, August 25th, 2033 Oakland's Armando Rodríguez accomplished what few others have done -- he hit for the cycle, collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game. For the day, Rodríguez finished 4-for-5 with 2 runs batted in and 2 runs scored and helped the Oaks knock off the Ft. Worth Cattlemen 10-3 at The Cattle Pen. "I didn't even know I was about to hit for the cycle until after," Rodríguez told reporters following the game. "One of the guys mentioned it when I got back to the dugout." Armando Rodríguez singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Oliver Huerta in the 5th, tripled in the 6th and grounded out in the 9th.
