Season Ends for Júlio Saldaña of Echo Park Tuesday, August 23rd, 2033 The season is ending on a bad note for Júlio Saldaña, reliever for the Echo Park Lakers. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Saldaña was hurt against the Rocky Mountain Nuggets while throwing a pitch. He suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for at least 7 months. So far this year Saldaña has nailed down 1 save. His won-lost record is 5-2 with a 2.15 ERA. |
