Season Ends for Kgosi Gowon of Kingston Township Saturday, August 20th, 2033 The season is ending on a bad note for Kgosi Gowon, starting pitcher for the Kingston Township Legion. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Gowon was hurt against the Echo Park Lakers while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will be out for at least 10 months. To date this year, Gowon shows a 2-1 record, 8 starts, 35.2 innings, 19 strikeouts and a 3.03 ERA. |
