Buckhead Ace Wins SL Outstanding Pitcher Award Sunday, November 6th, 2033 The Buckhead Bowties have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's David Buchanan, this year's United States Silver League Outstanding Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Buchanan compiled a 13-3 record in 23 starts, tallied 183 strikeouts in 152 innings and recorded a 2.37 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .169 batting average against him. Octavius Pringle of the Buckhead Bowties finished second in voting, while Stanford McCain of the Richardson City Thundercats finished third. |
