Broken Glass Cuts Northern Lions BC Manaznares

Northern Lions BC shortstop Enrique Manaznares received medical attention yesterday after accidentally cutting himself at his home. Manaznares was apparently cleaning up broken glass from a shattered window when he sliced his right hand on a jagged shard. The cut required 10 stitches and will reportedly keep Manaznares out of action for about 2 weeks.

Mateo Severely Scalded by Hot Water

Northern Lions BC first baseman Daniel Mateo received medical attention yesterday after being scalded at his home. Mateo was apparently attempting to boil a pot of water when he accidentally knocked the pot over onto his right arm. The injury will reportedly cause Mateo to be out of action for the next week as the burns heal.
