Davis Smashes 3 Homers for D.C.

Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Divided-Fenix game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball.
D.C. right fielder Wilbur Davis thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the D.C. to a 6-4 win over New Jersey.
"Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Davis said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run."
Davis was 3-for-5 on the day with 4 RBI.
Wilbur Davis struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Paul Dudding in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Paul Dudding in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Pedro Garza in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
Davis currently has a .290 batting average with 116 hits, 25 homers, 92 RBIs, 62 runs scored and a .341 OBP.
