New Amsterdam No Match for Manning Thursday, September 22nd, 2033 Buckhead Bowties fans were pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard as Ron Manning blanked the New Amsterdam Dutchmen, 4-0 at 5 Paces Park today. Manning stopped them on 4 hits while walking 1 and striking out 9. "Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite," Bowties skipper Kerry Hofmeister said. "He was on top of his game in this one." So far this year Manning has made 24 starts, tossed 150.2 innings, struck out 142 batters and walked 37.
