Panama City Shortstop Nets SL Award Monday, September 12th, 2033 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the United States Silver League, but last week David Austin of the Panama City Piranhas reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Austin rocked opposing pitching for a .600 average (3-for-5), 2 home runs and 4 RBIs to come away with the award. Austin is swinging at a .125 pace on the year with 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and 5 runs scored. He has played in 31 games. |
